  • Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your accommodation in Moshi or Arusha.
  • Depending on your arrival time, you might have a pre-climb briefing with your tour operator.
  • Begin the climb from Machame Gate after completing registration.
  • Trek through lush rainforest and gradually ascending terrain.
  • Reach Machame Camp, your first overnight stop on the route.
  • Continue the ascent, leaving the rainforest and entering the moorland zone.
  • Traverse through picturesque landscapes and reach Shira Camp.
  • Marvel at the panoramic views surrounding the campsite.
  • Ascend to Lava Tower for acclimatization and then descend to Barranco Camp.
  • The Barranco Camp is located beneath the impressive Barranco Wall.
  • Start the day with a climb up the Barranco Wall, a challenging section.
  • Trek through alpine desert landscapes to reach Karanga Camp.
  • Rest and prepare for the final ascent to the summit.
